Date: 1st December
Antarctica Day remembers the anniversary of the signing of the Antarctic Treaty in 1959.
The Treaty has ensured that Antarctica remains a natural reserve, devoted to peace and science. The day also highlights the international cooperation that makes governance of the continent possible and to encourage educators to incorporate Antarctica in their curriculum.

International Cheetah Day is a day for everyone to learn about cheetahs and spread the word about wildlife conservation.
It also encourages everyone to make changes to help their own local wildlife as well as wildlife the world over.

World Soil Day is a UN designated day which focuses attention on the importance of healthy soil and to is a platform to advocate for the sustainable management of soil resources.
Date: 11th December
International Mountain Day is a UN designated day to encourage the international community to organize events at all levels on that day to highlight the importance of sustainable mountain development.
Date: 14th December
Monkey Day is an unofficial holiday which celebrates monkeys and other non-human primates such as apes, tarsiers, and lemurs.
It is widely celebrated to educate people about monkeys and to raise awareness for the conservation of these creatures.
